About the community

559 Painted Rocks / 559 Rocks is an inclusive community that shares the happiness of decorated stones throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Some of the group’s creations also journey across the United States and, when possible, around the world.

Paint a few rocks with your family and place them in parks or other public spaces for someone to discover. A found stone may be kept, left where it is or hidden again. Photos of both your creations and your finds are welcome on the group wall.

Artists should write 559 Painted Rocks on the reverse so finders can locate the community and join the fun.
