About the community
This group is a place to share the painting, hiding, and discovery of any “kindness” rocks around Cheltenham.
A kindness rock is painted and then hidden — either extremely well or in full view — for another person to find. A tiny treasure left by a stranger can truly brighten someone’s day.
Members may keep rocks, exchange them with friends, give them as presents, or hide them again. The group ask only that you enjoy yourself and play fairly: do not collect every rock, and try to replace some of those you keep with new ones for others to discover.
Members need neither artistic ability nor costly equipment. The pinned post explains how to begin. Sometimes people will publish clues to rock locations; at other times they will not, because discoveries by non-members help the group expand when those finders join the group :)
