About the community
This group was created during the coronavirus period to give people a pleasant moment during a difficult time. Several years later, it has grown into a large, friendly and enjoyable community.
Everywhere, people paint small stones with cheerful pictures and leave them around the city or in nature as a surprise for the finder. You may keep a stone you find, or take it and let it continue wandering somewhere else.
Are you from Nieuwegein and painting a stone yourself? Write this Facebook page on the back: FB Happy Stone Ng. This lets finders report their discovery in the group and allows you to continue following your stone.
If you find one, preferably share a photo here and state the postcode written on the stone, preceded by a #. If you do not want to remain a group member, post the photo and then remove yourself again. If the stone has a postcode, add it to your post as #postcode; this makes it easier for the maker to find 👍🏻
