Happy Stones Assen are stones hidden in Assen that make everyone happy. When you discover one, it is lovely to leave a message on this page. You may keep it or let it travel onwards so it becomes a true wandering stone.
You can take part yourself too: create a beautiful stone, put Happy Stones Assen and the Facebook logo on it, and perhaps your creation will later appear here. How nice would that be?
- I buy my own stones from a DIY shop and a garden centre. Clean them before you start drawing.
- At Action, I buy paint markers with a thick tip and good coverage. For thin lines, I use fine-tipped Ugui pens from Amazon and Posca pens from Pipoos, available in several thicknesses.
- For the finish, I use a spray can of clear varnish. Do not spray too much at once, or the colours are very likely to run.
- Do not glue little balls, eyes or beads to stones. They can come loose and end up in nature, and we do not want that.
