About the community
We happened to find a painted rock in Drenthe and then used Google to look for its origin.
A Happy Stone is a painted rock that its creator leaves somewhere to make the finder happy. You may keep it or leave it in another place to bring joy to someone else. Once it is placed again, it begins to “travel.”
The whole process is fun for young and old alike: from searching for rocks and painting them to hiding them for a lucky finder. But of cthe group’sse, it does not end there.
After painting and hiding rocks, post photographs with the location's hashtag, for example #Maassluis. The finder then photographs the rock again and uses the hashtag for the place where it was found.
For identification, add the Facebook logo and the words “Happy Stones ZH” when painting the rock.
Have lots of fun painting and placing rocks — and who knows, perhaps you will discover one ythe group’sself.
