About the community
Welcome to Happy Stones Zoetermeer. Other Happy Stones groups inspired me to launch one in our own city, Zoetermeer (Netherlands).<br> I began it with my two sons during the coronavirus pandemic (2020). At first, we mostly let the stones travel around Zoetermeer, whereas I now take them everywhere. The more people we can surprise, the more enjoyable it is!<br> Whoever finds a stone may keep it or send it wandering again, either straight away or later. Naturally, it is most fun when the finder posts a message 😊<br> Perhaps finding one will even inspire that person to begin painting stones too. Residents of Zoetermeer can add the Facebook logo and "Happy Stones Zoetermeer" to the back, allowing the people who find your stones to post messages here as well.<br> Isn't that great!? Have lots of fun 😊<br> Unfortunately, my sons no longer paint with me, although my daughter still does sometimes 👍<br> P.S. Treat nature and the environment with respect: use only materials that will not cause damage when decorating the stones, and do not attach anything that could come loose, etc.<br> Greetings Aafje 🤗
