About the community
Our activity is painting rocks, hiding them, and seeing people smile when they find them. It covers the whole country: whether you live in California or New York, hide a rock and write on the bottom, “if found post to HPRAA,” followed by your state.
Let’s discover how many people we can make smile each day with a simple painted rock that brings hope or inspiration. You do not need to be an artist — my own rocks look as though a child made them — because even one simply painted rock could transform somebody’s entire day.
I leave them everywhere people might find them: Walmart parking lots, Fry’s grocery stores, smoke shops, roadsides, and parks. Children can help, making it fun for them while showing them an act of kindness.
Have fun and happy hunting!
