About the community
The group aims to bring a fun activity to our town and create change. People who know somebody in Brazil who would like to participate, please add them. Brazil Rocks — painting, hiding, and finding rocks in Brazil, Indiana — is inexpensive, easy, and hopefully enjoyable for the whole family and every age.
Our focus is spreading positivity and celebrating our beautiful rocks. The instructions below are only a suggested way to join in: your rocks, your rules. The group is a pay-it-forward rock-painting group.
Remember that the rock population can thrive and increase only if the activity is treated like a barter system. Taking part is very simple:
- Use your creativity to transform a lovely rock or shell into a treasure that will bless someone else.
- When you find a rock, replace it with one you made or with a found rock that has already been replaced.
- After enjoying a discovery, move it elsewhere to share more smiles.
- If you keep a rock, replace it with two creations of your own so the rock population continues to grow.
This is not a treasure hunt. Act kindly and considerately, leaving rocks for others to enjoy after you find one. Everybody deserves a small rock blessing, and children can learn about caring and sharing.
Place rocks outdoors in legal, safe, public locations, away from lawnmowers and similar hazards. Spread the word.
Solicitation posts will be removed. Repeated and/or offensive posts will result in the poster being blocked.
