Did a painted rock bring you here? Join the group, share a photo, and then choose whether to keep members’ treasure or hide it again. You might even discover who originally painted it. Admin approval can take a little while, although requests are checked and approved throughout the day.
What is The Kindness Rocks Project?
Goal #1: inspire people with rocks placed at random along their way.
Goal #2: encourage everyone who encounters a rock to take part in inspiring others through random acts of kindness.
The purpose of these groups is to brighten someone’s day with a hand-painted rock. Once you have painted one, leave it anonymously in a public location—such as a park, store or parking lot—for another person to discover.
Members are asked to add the group’s small tag to the back so the finder is directed to the group’s Facebook group; the tags are available under Files. Kindness spreads, and members may be surprised by its effect on both you and the finder.
