About the community
Welcome to this group, wherever you may be: our rocks will come to meet you. Whether you are in France or elsewhere, you are welcome.
This game from Great Britain, “Love on the rocks,” is based above all on generosity. Take a pebble, decorate it, write the group name LOTR 45 40 64 on the back, then leave it somewhere. A stranger may pick it up, keep it, replace it or help it travel.
The group is a place to admire your finest creations and follow their movements. If you discover a rock, post its photograph to give its creator an update. You can then keep it, replace it with one of your own works or continue its journey. In your post, write for example: #trouvé department 68.
Rockers who create these little wonders, do not be disappointed if your rock does not send news quickly: this may happen several months later. Let us also explain to children that nature is not a shop; finding nothing today is part of the game.
If you start the activity in your town, you may use the name LOTR 45 40 64 anywhere in France. The more rocks you scatter, the more enthusiasts you will attract and the more delightful surprises your walks will hold.
By sharing photographs of your rocks, you agree that group members may draw inspiration from and reproduce them — something you can be proud of.
We do not publish advertising and ask you not to distribute any. Links to other groups or commercial pages are prohibited. We do not use any app to locate the rocks: do not contact members privately to obtain their exact locations. We sell nothing and do not make rocks to order; our sole aim is to entertain ourselves and bring you joy.
Have fun!
