Marion Ohio Rocks! Rock Painting Group

About the community

Welcome to the Facebook group for Marion Ohio Rocks!

Rock painting is appearing in communities throughout the country. As positive community relationships become increasingly important, people are searching for small ways to benefit those around them. A painted rock may seem minor, but it can help bring the group closer to other people.

The idea is straightforward: paint a rock and leave it around town—on bike trails, in parks, at churches, outside businesses, and so on. Hopefully another person will discover your small artwork and have a brighter day. As the project develops, the group hope people across Marion County will join the fun by finding rocks, painting their own and hiding them.
