The idea is simple: decorate rocks at home, for example with acrylic paint markers, which are easier to handle, then apply a thin coat of varnish to set the colours.
Next, leave them in a public place: woods, a walking trail, a square, a monument, etc. Ideally, take a photograph, post it in the group and add a small clue to help the hunters. Write the group name on the back so that those who find the rock know where to share news of it and may discover the game themselves.
While out for a walk, you too may come across a coloured rock. It will then be your turn to send it on its journey, whether a little or much farther away. Remember to post your discovery in the group so its creator can learn where the journey takes it next.
