About the community
The group focuses on rocks members have painted rather than rocks found or traded, unless a find is truly exceptional. Any painted object is welcome, as are unpainted rocks for which members seek ideas.
Requests for ideas are permitted, but requests for members to provide rocks are not.
Selling rocks, supplies or any other items is forbidden. Watermarks, sales-site links, Etsy pages, YouTube links and personal pages containing sales are prohibited. Members may not request rock sales or trades; the group points to dedicated buying and trading communities for those activities.
Links to other groups and images shared through another group's link are prohibited. Artwork must be posted directly. Live streams and tutorial-style videos are also excluded.
Sales posts are removed and may lead to muting or banning.
Members who dislike a post are expected to report it to an administrator instead of commenting rudely; rude comments lead to removal. The group invokes the familiar advice to say nothing when there is nothing kind to say, and encourages members to enjoy painting.
