About the community
USA ROCKS welcomes visitors.
The group’s objective
Find rocks, paint and weatherproof them, then hide them. If a rock is not placed in a park, take a clue photo. Search for other people’s rocks, photograph ythe group’s finds, and share travelling rocks here on USA ROCKS so their jthe group’sneys between towns—or even states—can be followed.
The administrators are Etoy Rodriguez, Terriann Campbell and Larry Tyrer. Do not block them, or you will be blocked. If a problem arises, bring it to the group’s attention by tagging one of us or sending a private message.
- Every post must relate to rock painting.
- Never publish addresses or telephone numbers for any reason; exchange that information through private messages.
- Bullying, scolding, profanity and sexually explicit material are forbidden.
- No anti-anything content is allowed, whether LGBT, religious, political or otherwise.
- Advertisements may be posted on Wednesdays only. Advertising on any other day will be removed.
Remember that this public group is part of the World Wide Web. Do not post anything you would not want other people to see or share. To have something placed in a file or album, contact an administrator privately.
This movement is about kindness—not fame, glory, greed or competition. Please avoid the phrase “rock hoarders”; people who keep rocks sometimes have a wonderful or important story behind that choice.
Reporting posts and comments
The admins cannot monitor everything that is published, so the administrators rely on members’ help. Every report is taken seriously and reviewed separately. Only flag a post when it contains inappropriate advertising, clearly comes from a fake account, or displays harassment, abuse or threats.
The USA ROCKS administrators thank participants.
