About the community
Welcome to the TROUVE MON GALET 10 group. New members, here are the rules and all the explanations ⚠️⤵️
- ✅ Draw on rocks found in nature using paint, markers, varnish, etc. ⚠️ Do not add plastic beads, rhinestones or plastic craft eyes: think about nature, pollution and animals.
- ✅ On the back, write “TROUVE MON GALET 10” with the small Facebook symbol and, if you wish, your town and first name.
- ✅ Hide your rocks wherever you like: a park, statue, tree, bench, shopfront, etc.
- ✅ To report a hiding place, post a photograph of the rock, a few clues and the full name of the town or village, without abbreviations. This is very important. If the picture shows a flower, for example, use the word “flower”. The post will then be easier to find with the search bar, represented by the small magnifying glass near the cover photograph.
✅ For materials, you can use marker pens or acrylic paint pens. POSCA pens perform best: their colours look perfect and withstand both rain and sun. If using ordinary markers or water-based paint, varnish your work to extend its life; spray varnish, for example, is very easy to use.
When someone discovers a decorated rock?
✅ If you know the game and followed the clues in a group post, comment on the post by the person who hid it with the word “TROUVÉ” so that everything remains easy to track. To find a post, enter the town name or a keyword such as “flower” in the search bar—the small magnifying glass next to the cover photograph. Members can also sort the results by most recent date.
✅ If you found it by chance, photograph the rock and create a new post on the group’s page saying “TROUVÉ + THE PLACE AND TOWN where it was found”.
✅ Then hide it wherever you wish and state the town or village of its new hiding place, always written in full and without abbreviations. It can then travel several km and move from town to town, especially if you take it with you on holiday.
✅ To find out whether the game exists near you, search for the name of a town or village using the small magnifying glass at the top of the cover photograph. All posts mentioning that location will appear, if there are any.
Sharing news of a rock in the group always delights its creator. However, the main aim remains to bring joy and make people smile: receiving no update is therefore not a problem, because not everyone has Facebook or necessarily knows the game. Some rocks may be kept because someone liked them; that is also part of the game, so do not…
