How the game works
If I discover a pebble bearing the group’s name, I post a close-up photo here. I state where it was found and the signature written on the pebble, preceded by the # sign if possible. I then hide or leave it in another place or town and share a new photo clue, repeating the signature. I do not keep it. The pebbles must travel, and members must be able to follow their journeys through the pictures.
A pebble marked with the name of another group or department must be photographed and posted in the group named on it.
Children, adults, and everyone who is still young at heart are invited to join the group. Come and combine the pleasures of drawing, painting, searching, hiding, walking outdoors, sharing, and simply having fun.
Decorate pebbles with paint, felt-tip pens, or acrylic markers. Varnish them to protect them and prevent the design from rubbing off, then leave or hide them wherever you wish: walking or hiking routes, towns, villages, and so on. Next, add one or two small photos to the group and, if you wish, a few clues.
Very important: write the address of this Facebook group, “TROUVE MON GALET 34 - HERAULT,” on the back of the pebble so that the finder can join the group and report their discovery. Without it, you will never receive any news. If there is enough space, add “Publies une photo sur le groupe facebook”: this will make it easier for the person to understand the idea.
When you find a pebble, announce it in the group with a photo and the place where it was discovered. Then leave it somewhere else within the department or beyond, and add a photo here: this is how the pebbles travel.
Artistic talent matters less than the pleasure of drawing, painting, hiding, and finding. More and more young and old people are sharing this idea in France and around the world.
Have fun and welcome. Feel free to share this group and invite your friends. Thank youuuuu!
