With #TrouveMonGalet, it is easy and free to spread good cheer. This fun activity for young and old is very common in England, Canada, and the United States under various names: Smilesstones, Rocks and Stone, The kindness Rocks Project, Love on the Rocks…
Aim of the game
- Decorate pebbles from your area and write #TrouveMonGalet on the back to encourage the stranger who discovers them to post a photo.
- Hide them in a public place: your park, your town, or any other place of your choice.
- Invite your contacts to take part: the more players there are, the greater your chances of coming across a #TrouveMonGalet pebble.
- Have your children paint pebbles and hide them during your walks.
- After hiding a pebble, announce it in the group with an approximate indication of the location so that nearby members can go hunting for #TrouveMonGalet pebbles.
When someone discovers a pebble? Post a photo of it here, then choose between two possibilities:
- hide it in a new place and share the photo in this group and/or in the group for the corresponding region or #Trouvemongalet;
- keep it as a souvenir or decoration for your home, garden, or elsewhere.
