About the community
The group welcomes visitors devoted to rocks from department 84 bearing “Trouve mon galet 84” or “Trouve mon galet 84 - Vaucluse”.
How the game works
When I find a rock bearing the group’s name, I post a close-up photograph of it here. I give the place where it was found and, if present, the signature or code written on it, preceded by the # sign. I then leave it in another place or another town and share a new clue photograph that also mentions the signature or code.
I do not keep it. The aim is to send the rocks travelling and allow members to follow their routes through photographs. If a rock bears the name of another group or department, I post it in the group indicated on it.
Children, adults and everyone who has kept their inner child may join us to draw, paint, search, hide, walk in nature, share and simply have fun.
Decorate rocks with paint, markers or acrylic paint pens. Varnish them to prevent the picture from wearing away, then leave or hide them wherever you choose: along walking or hiking routes, in towns, villages, etc. Next, post one or two small photographs, with a few clues if you would like to help with the search.
Very important: write the Facebook group address “TROUVE MON GALET 84 - VAUCLUSE” on the back. The finder will then know where to join us and report the discovery; otherwise, you will never receive news of ythe group’s rocks. If there is room, add “Publies une photo sur le groupe facebook” to increase the chances that the person understands how it works.
After finding a rock, let the group know with a small photograph and the location. Then leave the rock elsewhere in the department or beyond and add a photograph here. This is how the rocks travel :)
Great artistic talent is not required: only the pleasure of drawing, painting, hiding and discovering matters. Ever more people, both young and old, share this idea in France and around the world.
