About the community
This page honours the memory of Vincent W Puckett, who took his own life on May 1st 2017, at the age of 14, after being bullied.
The group's mission is to spread kindness and raise awareness of suicide and bullying. Rocks are painted and hidden, then found, shared on social media and hidden again across the world, carrying a message of kindness. The initiative aims to place a Vincent rock in every town, city, state and country.
Its message places kindness first as a way to prevent hatred from taking root.
Further information is available at www.vincentslegacy.com. Prospective Vincent rock painters can contact the organisers through Facebook or at vincentslegacy@yahoo.com.
The initiative's Twitter account is @VWPLegacy.
The page includes the quotation “We are more alike than we are different”, attributed there to Charles Darwin.
